GLEN LAKE is a newer gated community in the rolling Spartanburg County countryside. Opened in 2005, this community includes over 300 lots. Presently there are about 85 homes and 35 townhouses. The master plan includes additional acreage that will allow for 500+ residents.
Glen Lake is located less than 2 miles from I-85 and is in close proximity to I-26. Thus it provides a convenient residential community for nearby Spartanburg as well as for those that prefer to commute into the greater Greenville area. Boiling Springs Rd (Hwy 9) is less than a mile away; it is a high growth commercial corridor that includes a number of retails stores and restaurants that have developed in support of the rapidly growing Boiling Springs area. Glen Lake is a very comfortable community. The panoramic views across the amenities area as you drive down Shoreline Blvd. and from the porch of the club house porch overlooking the lake really adds to the attractiveness, appeal and uniqueness of Glen Lake.
