HARPERS RIDGE is one of the earlier high quality communities to enter into the greater Anderson residential market. Its lasting appeal has been its nice variety of attractive custom built homes, larger nicely landscaped lots (which average 1.2 acres in size), and a Lake Hartwell exposure for about 16 /home/lots. The larger lot sizes allow for deeper setback lines, and greater spacing between homes; add to this the mature trees and shrubs, winding rolling roads and you will find that many homes enjoy a high degree of privacy.
Harpers Ridge features a wide variety of designs including some stately executive homes. Most homes in the community are multi-story and finished in classic brick. The average home size is about 3,800 sq. ft. with a handful exceeding 5,000 sq. ft.
This community is conveniently located midway between Clemson Blvd (SC Hwy 76) and Greenville Hwy (SC Hwy 81). These are the prime commercial corridors for Anderson and they offer a wide variety of restaurants, shopping and service oriented stores. Anderson Mall is located south on Clemson Blvd about 3 mile from Harpers Ridge; Head north on Clemson Blvd for easy access onto I-85.
Lake Hartwell is a Corp of Engineers project. At full pool the lake enjoys over 55,000 acres. Boating and fishing enthusiasts interested in Lake Hartwell access will be pleased to know that a public boat ramp to is less that 2 miles away.
The amenity package for Harpers Ridge is limited to the common grounds which includes a 2+ acre tract that offers two tennis courts with night lights.
It is difficult to drive through Harpers Ridge without feeling a strong attraction towards this community.
