Located in NE Anderson County, Kensington offers an easy commute into downtown Greenville which is less than 10 miles away via either SC Hwy 81 or I-85. Homes styles are varied, and many of the lots (about .65 acres average size) have nicely landscaped yards with mature trees and shrubs.
What makes Kensington so special is the picturesque 2+ acre private lake in the center of the community. This park-like area is on common grounds and features a lakeside gazebo, and sidewalks/paths suitable for a quiet evening stroll by Kensington residents. About a dozen homes surround the common grounds and overlook the lake. While walking around the lake and taking pictures, our photography noted that it was very peaceful and seemed quite safe.
