HAWK CREEK is an executive community west of Spartanburg off of US hwy 29. It is located about 1 mile beyond I-26. The most recent expansion to the Hawk Creek is at the south end of Oakley Rd under the name The Meadows at Hawk Creek.
As you enter Hawk Creek off of Hwy 29, you are greeted with a nicely landscaped, tree lined entranceway that gives you an impression of entering a park. The property to the left of the road is a 4+ acre parcel that is part of the community’s common ground. And It offers over 1000′ of natural woodlands along the roadway; a couple of park benches placed roadside just add an inviting and relaxing touch to the community.
Homes in Hawk Creek are traditional in styling. The first couple of phases in Hawk Creek included larger lots (.6 acre and up) with many of them enjoying mature trees. Add a wide assortment of attractive single and multi-story designs, a variety of exterior elevation treatments (mainly brick or stucco), and well cared for yards and landscaping and you end up with a very attractive community that it would be very easy to call home.
The Meadows at Hawk Creek is the latest phase of the development. The lots in this section are usually smaller in size (closer to a half acre or less). However, the quality, attractiveness and variety of home designs in this section is retained.
Hawk Creek does not offer any amenities beyond the common grounds. The community is however, only 1 mile away from the Westside Club, a fitness facility located on Willis Rd.
